The parish church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built between 1885 and 1893, brick-built, neo-gothic, designed by architects F. Nowicki and B. Schmidt. The builder was Władysław Colonna-Czosnowski from Warsaw. In the main altar there is a sculpture of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary made in 1896.
Town Hall, a neo-baroque one-story building with four towers. Built thanks to the efforts of the mayor Ludwik Mieczkowski in 1927 according to the design of Stefan Zwolanowski. Since 1975, the town hall has been the headquarters of the Municipal Office.
The Stone Cross (1894) located in the presbytery garden commemorates the place of the main altar in the wooden church, built in 1796-1801.
Liberty Oak tree planted in the square in front of the parish church on the 1st anniversary of independence in 1919. Nearby stands the Obelisk of Freedom erected to celebrate independence.
M Copernicus High School, a one-story brick building, whose architectural form refers to the palace building. It was built in the years 1923-1928 as the Coeducational Middle School of Humanities. At that time it was one of the most modern schools of the Second Polish Republic.
A brick-built, one-story building, erected in 1926 according to the design of Stefan Zwolanowski. A characteristic decoration of the building are columns stylized in the Greek pattern, formerly the headquarters of the People's Bank.
A commemorative plaque on the "Czerwoniak" building unveiled during the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. In the building, built in the second half of the nineteenth century by a Jewish trader - Lichtensztajn. A Nazi prison was located in the years 1939-1944. Currently, in the place of the former "Czerwoniak" there is a newly-built residential and service building.
The parish cemetery, the oldest part of the cemetery, was opened in the second half of 17th century. The preserved tombstones identified so far come from the first half of the 19th century and belong to the Scholastyka Podbielska died in 1827 and Paweł Podbielski, retinue of the Ostrołęka County, died in 1829. The graves of soldiers stationed in Komorowo before the end of World War I are located in the cemetery, the grave of soldiers killed near Ostrów in the Polish-Soviet war on August 4, 1920 and the grave of members of the Home Army who died in the fight against the Germans at Pacynka on August 31, 1944.
The cemetery chapel of St. Sophia, built around 1830 as the tomb chapel of the Łomża burgrave, Zofia Barzykowska. A wooden building with a carcass construction. In the chapel there is a classicist tombstone of Kajetan Barzykowski, judge of the peace, and epitaph plaques of Antoni Liberadzki, died in 1839 and Zuzanna Barzykowska, died in 1854.

The Monument of Princess Anna Mazowiecka, built according to the design of Mirosław Skoczek, unveiled on June 6, 2004 on the occasion of the 570th anniversary of granting city rights to Ostrów Mazowiecka. Duchess Anna Mazowiecka in 1514 granted the right to hold 4 fairs a year and 1 market a week, which accelerated the development of Ostrów Mazowiecka.
Aleja Głogowa named after Bolesław Zarzycki and Henryk Gosiewski - foresters of the Ostrów region - opened on May 13, 2011 during the celebration of the International Year of Forests announced by the United Nations. On that day, an obelisk with a plaque commemorating the event was also unveiled.
Ostrów Mazowiecka Commune
In the years 1890-1894 barracks for the tsarist army were built. From 1917, the famous Infantry Officer Cadet School was located in Komorowo. In the years 1926-1929, a garrison church was built. In the years 1930-1934, when the school was commanded by Colonel Ludwik Bociański, a sports center, a swimming pool and a tennis court were established. Numerous monuments referring to the glory of the Polish army, from the times of Bolesław the Brave to the heroes of the November Uprising were also erected. The surrounding of the barracks located in a park with walking paths and a sports complex can be a great place for relaxation.
The cemetery of the Soviet POWs located near the village of Grądy, on the site of the former prisoner of war camp - stalag 324, which functioned from August 1941. It was one of the largest POW camps in the General Government. In the camp in Grądy, out of those 120,000 imprisoned more than 80,000 soldiers died. A complex of pine forests stretches around, which is a symbolic Forest of Remembrance in the area of the former POW camp.
Monument of the fallen in the fight at Pecynka, about 14 km from the village of Grady, in the neighboring Wyszków county, there is the forest settlement of Pecynka. On August 31, 1944, German troops attacked the Home Army partisan group stationing here. The Poles tried to break the tightening ring of the occupant's encirclement. Today, on the battlefield near Pecynka, there is a monument erected on the grave of partisans of the 3rd battalion of the 13th Infantry Regiment of the Home Army. About 300 meters from the monument, there is an iron cross commemorating the place where fourteen soldiers from the 3rd battalion were shot on August 31, 1944.
Monument in Nagoszewo - this town is known for the events that took place here during the January Uprising. The Battle of Nagoszewo was the biggest clash in the Ostrow region. On June 2-3, 1863, the combined units under the command of Maksymilian Broniewski fought against several columns of tsarist troops. Near the battlefield, there is a granite monument erected on the mass grave in 1917 (on the left to the Ostrów Mazowiecki - Warsaw route).
Manor complex in Stare Lubiejewo, a brick-built palace from the end of the 19th century and a landscape park with interesting species of trees and shrubs. The monument is located in the area of today's School Complex of Agricultural Education Center in Stare Lubiejewo.
The parish church of St. Roch in Jasienica, a brick-built church (1880-1883) renovated after 1945. Valuable works of sculptural art: Mother of God and Child (early 16th century Gothic) and St. John of Nepomucen (first half of the 19th century). A brick belfry from the end of the 19th century. At the parish cemetery there is a late Classicist sandstone tombstone of Aleksander Sykstyn Zaleski (died 1855) and a stone tombstone of Wiktor Godlewski (1831-1900), an insurgent of 1863, naturalist and traveler.
Marian Sanctuary in Osuchowa, st. Peter and Paul parish. The sanctuary is famous for many miraculous graces. The cult of the Mother of God in the parish of Osuchowa is closely related to the apparitions that took place in the lives of the inhabitants of the village at the beginning of the 20th century. The first apparitions took place in 1910. In the same year, a wooden chapel was built in the nearby forest. Currently, in the chapel there is a Book of Prayers and Thanksgiving, and in the archives of the parish there are testimonies of miraculous healings. The revealed Mother of God showed miraculous means to her faithful worshipers. It was water from a stream and linen cloth. Today, in the chapel, you can find pieces of chopped linen prepared for visitors. The main church fair in the Sanctuary takes place on May 3 - the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Poland. At that time, numerous pilgrimages from nearby parishes come. In June 2003, the bishop of the Łomża Diocese entrusted the Sanctuary with the pastoral care of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Redemptorists).
Town and Commune of Brok
Church of St. Andrew the Apostle parish church in the town of Brok. The present image of the church has been preserved from the 18th century. The interior décor comes from that century. During the renovation works in 1969, traces of polychrome from the time of the construction of the church (mid-16th century) were discovered. In the chapel of St. Anna, there is an octagonal marble plaque that once adorned the gate of the bishop's palace in Brok.
The ruins of the palace of the Płock bishops in 1607, the Płock bishop, Henryk Firlej, erected a defensive castle palace at the mouth of Turka to the Bug River. It served as a summer residence for church dignitaries. In terms of architecture, it was a combination of an Italian Palladian villa with the tradition of a Renaissance Polish court. To this day, only the ruins of the eastern tower on the outskirts of the town of Brok have remained of the palace's former glory.
Jewish cemetery was entered in the register of monuments and is under legal protection. In the area partially fenced with a net there are about 30 tombstones in the form of broken plates, sunk into the ground. It is the resting place of a large number of Jews who lived in Brok from the 18th century to the Holocaust during World War II.
Nur Commune
The brick parish church in Nur, built in the second half of the 19th century. In the nineteenth century, destroyed by the retreating German troops, rebuilt in 1949-1966. In the main altar there is a painting of the Mother of God with the Child from the first half of the 17th century.
The cross „Pod sztandarem" commemorating the battle fought by the army of General Łubieński on May 22, 1831. The cross stands between the road to Ciechanów and the road to the village of Żebry.
Museum of the Children's Years of the Primate of the Millennium in the village of Zuzela, the birthplace of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński (March 3, 1901). The museum was organized in the reconstructed wooden building of the former school. In the room on the left, the flat of the Wyszyński family was reconstructed, and on the right, a school room from the beginning of the 20th century.
Wooden presbytery - built in 1929 thanks to the efforts of Pr. Ludwik Wiśniewski, designed by an unknown author in the manor style with the use of neo-baroque forms. The building is entered in the register of monuments under the number 385. In August 1944, the building was partially destroyed by the Germans during the blowing up of the parish church, it was rebuilt at the end of the 1940s.
Andrzejewo commune
Gothic Church of St. Bartholomew Gothic church in Andrzejewo. The parish was founded in the 14th century. The church obtained its shape during a long, 70-year construction process (1526-1605). The baroque main altar comes from 1701, the painting of St. Bartholomew is one of the oldest painting objects in the Ostrów Mazowiecka county (painted on a board in the 17th century).
Parish cemetery in Andrzejewo, a historic cemetery chapel from 1884, near the tomb of Julianna Wyszyńska (mother of Cardinal S. Wyszyński, deceased in 1910), the Mausoleum of the Soldiers of September (on individual and collective plaques we can find the biography of General Kossecki and Colonel Hertl) and the Monument of the Home Army Soldiers.
Zaręby Kościelne Commune
The monastery complex was built in Zaręby Kościelne in the years 1765-1774 from the foundation of Szymon Zaremba for the reformed fathers brought to these lands in the second half of the 17th century. The complex includes a baroque parish church, a monastery with a patio adjacent to the southern facade of the church and a courtyard in front of the church surrounded by a 17th-century wall with a gate. In the center of the courtyard there is a chapel in the form of a Tuscan column (1805). The main altar and the side altars of the monastery church represent typical Reformist furnishings, characterized by their raw appearance and dark wood color. A unique monument is a coffin with the mummified body of the founder of the church (died 1768).
A branch church of St. Stanisław, erected in the years 1882-1900 in Zaręby Kościelne, a neo-Gothic fieldstone church. In the main altar there is a painting of Our Lady of the Angels painted on a board in the early 17th century.
Manor house in Złotoria - in the fifteenth century in Złotoria there was a hunting manor, where the bishops of Płock used to visit. Until the end of the 18th century, Złotoria was one of the administrative centers of the episcopal estates. After the January Uprising it was given to a certain tsarist general as the so-called entail. After regaining independence, the property in Złotoria became state property, which was managed by Tadeusz Podbielski - a great administrator and former legionnaire. The currently standing, preserved manor house was built by Tadeusz Podbielski in 1933.

Inside the cottage there is a shop with artistic products. You can also try lavender lemonade, dumplings and waffles prepared by the owner of the farm.
The commune of Małkinia Górna
The parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, erected in the years 1905-1911, a neo-Gothic church, brick, designed by architect Karol Jankowski in Małkinia Górna.
The Holy Trinity Sanctuary in Prostyń. Prostyń is one of two places in Poland where St. Anna revealed. The description of the apparition is provided in the archival documents of the bishops of the Lutsk diocese (Lutsk in Volhynia) from the 16th century. These sources indicate that St. Anna appeared in Prostyń in 1510. The news of the apparitions spread across the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and numerous pilgrims began to arrive. In 1547, Queen Bona, wife of Zygmunt Stary, came to the village on the Bug. From the moment of the apparitions, miraculous healings began. The present church was built in 1946-1954 after the Germans blew up the parish church with valuable sacred art monuments in 1944. In the main altar there is a late-gothic sculpture of the Holy Trinity, probably made by Wit Stwosz or his students at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. As early as in 1513, this sculpture was known to be famous for miracles. It was probably donated by the bishop of Lutsk, Paweł Aligmunt Holszański, on the occasion of establishing the parish in Prostyń in 1511. In the main altar there is also a painting of the Mother of God with the Child, which is a copy of the painting by Bartolome Murilla, made in Florence by Alfons Boschi (1615-1649) and a figure of St. Anna with the Blessed Virgin Mary. There are handcuffs hanging on the pillar resembling those placed in the temple by Mikołaj Prostyński as a sign of gratitude for the miraculous release from Tatar captivity in 1552. The local indulgences are very solemnly celebrated on the Feast of the Holy Trinity and on St. Anna's Day, lasting several days. Near the church, there is a classicist belfry from 1858-1860 and a cemetery chapel from the 18th century.

The tombstone chapel in Orło there is a tombstone chapel from the end of the 19th century in the form of a cast-iron gazebo. It has the form of a crypt built on a square plan. The property combines elements of Byzantine and Moorish art. It is the tomb chapel of General Andrei Aleksandrowicz Kucyński - a Russian who owned the property in Orło. He received it after the January Uprising for his services to the tsar. After his death in 1875, he was buried in a brick crypt.
Stary Lubotyń Commune
The neo-gothic church. There is a neo-gothic three-nave brick church. In the wooden side altar, on the right, there is a painting of the Virgin Mary with the Child from around 1700.

Wąsewo commune
Marian Sanctuary - a parish church in Wąsewo, erected in 1912-1922, rebuilt in 1949 after war damage. A three-nave neo-Gothic church. In the main altar, a painting of the Mother of God with the Child by an unknown author, dating from the 16th century. From the 17th century, the painting is especially venerated by the faithful. This is shown by the numerous votive offerings placed around the image. Church authorities recognized Wąsewo as a Marian sanctuary. The coronation of the painting of Our Lady of Wąsewo took place on September 8, 2000.
Boguty-Pianki Commune
Miller's homestead. In the village of Drewnowo (8 km from Ciechanowiec) there is a historic miller's homestead, with a windmill and a cottage from the end of the 19th century. The historic buildings are the property of the K. Kluk Agricultural Museum in Ciechanowiec and constitute one of the many outdoor exhibitions of the construction department (Masovian-Podlasie Open-Air Museum).
